Apple has just launched their long awaited App Store for Macs, where it opens with 1,000 apps already under it’s belt.
If you’ve used the App Store on any of Apple’s iDevices, it’s pretty much the same experience - except on your computer. All the benefits such as easy to find apps using a central location, update notifications, ease of install and uninstall are here.
The store lets users browse through new and hot apps, staff favorites and top charts to find the best apps available. App categories include Education, Games, Graphics & Design, Lifestyle, Productivity, Utilities and others - Mashable
